PetCalc provides free calculators and general educational content for pet owners. You may use the site for personal reference and lawful, non-commercial purposes. We may add, change or remove pages as the project develops.

Results are approximations based on the model and inputs described on each page. They are not a diagnosis, treatment plan, medication instruction, nutritional prescription or substitute for advice from a qualified veterinarian.

Do not delay professional care because of a calculator result. For urgent symptoms or a treatment decision, contact a veterinarian.

The calculator does not ask you to upload content or create an account. If you email us, you are responsible for making sure the message does not include information you are not allowed to share. You keep ownership of anything you send us.

Do not overload, scrape abusively, interfere with the site, attempt to bypass security or use the service for unlawful activity. We may limit access when necessary to protect the site or other visitors.

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep it useful, but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, perfect results for every breed or situation, or compatibility with every browser and device.

We may update the calculation model, sources, copy or these terms. The updated date on the page will change when this happens. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PetCalc is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including decisions made from an estimate, interruption of access or reliance on content that has since changed. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
